Area Cleaning Manager

You will be working as an Area Manager for an established cleaning contractor that are based in in Yorkshire but operate nationally and are looking for someone to manage 20-sites in the South and South West – Reading , Basingstoke , Staines , Bristol etc. You will be managing 20 sites within the Healthcare industry and around 36 Cleaners. 

Ideally you will have experience managing blue chips client and you will manage your own diary but will be expected to attend sites regularly to ensure standards are being met and service levels are met. One of your key responsibilities will be driving the business forward and helping the company to grow even further and managing the team effectively to ensure standards are being met

Your Role

• Responsibility for contract /cleaner performance to achieve and exceed contract SLA and KPI
• Client Relationship management with key focus on service delivery, retention, and contract growth
• Responsible for managing financial budgets 
• Attend training and meetings as required.                                 
• Implementation of all company policies and procedures 
• Site visits. In line with client contractual requirement,
• Pre-sale involvement before contract becomes operational, attending new client site meetings with Business Development Managers, managing TUPE transfer and recruitment of operatives
• Contract mobilisations
• Deliver in accordance with the FM strategy, site service charter and service level agreement to monitor key elements of the FM service.
• Manage onsite FM projects specific as agreed with the Project Team.
• Provide a key interface between on-site client and the contracted service providers on a day-to-day basis.
• Any other ad hoc duties and tasks required

About you

• Experience of managing multiple cleaning sites & contracts at Operations Manager level 
• Ability to liaise and work professionally with clients and staff
• Experience of motivating, managing and leading cleaning teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Full UK Driving licence

Location

You will need to be based in the Basingstoke/Reading area
