Pay Rate: £19.26 per hour

Hours: Locum contract. 37 hours per week and flexible for the work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work on Early Help cases as directed.
  • To liaise and negotiate with other teams, agencies and organisations in pursuit of effective service provision.
  • To research and gather information on agreed cases as directed.
  • To respond to specific cases as directed and follow up with referrers and where agreed with families within set timescales in EHASH.
  • Where agreed to engage children and their families in the assessment and action planning element of the EHA/TAF process or another agreed Early Help intervention.
  • To ensure outcome focussed support packages are developed with families based on an in depth analysis of need across the family.
  • To liaise with a range of key stakeholders to support the development and effective delivery of comprehensive support packages for children and families.
  • To maintain clear auditable records in relation to assessments, agreed actions and outcomes regarding all cases and case related decisions worked upon.
  • To use appropriate IT systems including ICS / ONE / EHM to maintain records of work done, case notes etc and to produce reports in accordance with agreed procedures and timescales.
  • To ensure Safeguarding and other required procedures and processes are followed effectively and in a timely fashion.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Do you possess a level 3 or higher qualification in subjects relevant to the role or willing to undertake whilst in post
  • Experience working as Early Help Support Worker or similar
  • Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS and references.
  • 37 hours p/w. must be able to work flexible hours
