This is a permanent position that perfectly balances both office and home working, with an emphasis on direct assessments in schools, colleges, pre-schools, and family homes. What you will do:

– Conduct individual assessments and consultations with children and young people across various educational settings including pre-schools, primary, secondary, and colleges, both mainstream and special schools.
– Provide advice and strategies to teachers and school staff to support a wide range of needs, from cognition and learning difficulties to language, social communication, medical, sensory, and social emotional challenges.
– Work extensively with pre-school children, as they comprise about 40% of our caseload.
– Apply person-centred approaches to engage with children, their families, and schools, enhancing educational outcomes and psychological wellbeing.
– Support schools at both individual and whole-school levels, helping to implement evidence-based interventions.
