Role: Project Administrator
Sector: Retrofit 
Location: Slough 
Salary: £28k – £32k per annum

The overall purpose of the role is to support the team in adhering to scheme delivery requirements in line with funding and accreditation requirements and maintaining the necessary associated accreditations.
 

Core responsibilities include:

  • Collating, validating, and preparing PAS 2035/2030:2019 compliance paperwork to Clients, Energy Suppliers and Accreditation Bodies on a weekly basis, operating within contractual deadlines to ensure compliance.
  • To provide guidance and monitor all PAS 2030/35 standards.
  • To ensure that all compliance documentation is been recorded in line with PAS standards.
  • Develop a Zero Carbon Solutions compliance framework to support Business growth targets for the Zero Carbon function of the region.
  • Providing guidance to the business on environmental and Zero Carbon Solutions issues. This will include extensive working with different departments and teams, providing support and technical guidance on compliance and governance on external funding opportunities.
  • Support client engagement strategies. Assist in the development of Client and Business Unit Zero Carbon reduction roadmaps.
  • To understand, implement and adhere to the company SHE policy/strategy and ensure that SHE requirements are always upheld to the highest of standards.
  • Producing of all necessary paperwork associated with installation of Energy Efficiency measures in line with PAS 2035/2030:2019 process.
  • Working closely with scheme Retrofit Coordinators, Project Manager and other key personnel ensuring PAS installation paperwork is provided in line with the main contract programs.
  • Maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the sector and pass this knowledge onto the wider regional team.
  • Provide compliance advice to regional delivery teams regarding energy efficiency measures.
  • To ensure that there are zero compliance failures resulting from poor and inaccurate submission information.
  • To ensure all Strategic Partner contractual deadlines are adhered to.
  •  Clients, tenants, and customers through their retrofit journey. 
  • Understanding of Carbon Net Zero agenda – To have a wide knowledge and understanding of the Energy & M & E Services Sector and pass this Knowledge and learning into the regional teams.
  • Management of funding through the ECO4, PSDS, SHDF SALIX and all other renewable funding schemes.
  • Develop relationships and partnerships with Zero Carbon Solutions stakeholders, influencers, and Clients.
  • Carbon Impact reporting.
  • Management of PAS2030/35/MCS approval and compliance
  • Maintain effective Client mapping, trackers, and metrics/analytics.
  • Collate, Analyze and produce statistical Fuel Poverty data in report format.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to ensure that Zero Carbon Solutions are embedded within the Projects.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in collating and analyzing data in relation to Compliance, Carbon, Waste, Product Procurement and Community initiatives.
  • Review and assist in the implementation of energy efficient programs with the organization.
  • Keep up to date with new and innovative developments in the fields of Zero Carbon Solutions and environmental management.
  • Provide reports to the Operations Manager.
  • Attend departmental meetings as required.
  • Client interaction as required (through reporting, training, and briefings).

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience within Environmental/Zero Carbon Solutions functions.
  • Ability to balance commitments to the environment with the need to be corporate and business minded.
  • The ability to build relationships with a range of people, such as project managers and contractors.
  • Flexibility to work under pressure, responding to changing legislation and project and programme demand.
  • Understanding of and interest in Zero Carbon and innovations in the Built environment
  • Knowledge of Zero Carbon Solutions strategy implementation / embedment.
  • Skilled in data analysis and translating this into compliance/board reports and business cases.
  • Knowledge of standards and systems applicable to FSC, MCS PAS 2035 and green funding mechanisms
  • Relevant experience of working as part of a team
  • Providing initiative-taking support to operational business units.
  • Knowledge of UK Safety & Health HE legislation
  • Relevant construction sector experience, preferably housing
  • Up to date knowledge of UK Building Regs Part L, Part O
