Site Agent and Sub agent

Location – Swindon

Rate – Competitive 

 

My client is a Tier 1 contractor based in Swindon, who is currently looking for a site agent or a sub agent with previous rail and bridges experience to work on one of the major rail to work on the site on a long term contract position. 

Site agent responsibilities and requirements:

  • The project will involve the remediation of bridge structures and trunk sewer barrels within both road and rail infrastructure.
  • This is an excellent opportunity to lead a project from conception to completion
  • Responsibilities will include leading a team of sub agents and engineers
  • NEC knowledge would be advantageous

 

Sub agent Responsibilities and requirements:

  • Managing the sub-contractors and engineers
  • Procurement / ordering of materials
  • Quality Control of the works / Health and Safety
  • Production of weekly rolling programmes
  • Providing support to site engineers
  • Management of site activities
  • Progress reporting
  • Experience of major rail/bridges projects
  • Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • CSCS
  • CITB TWC – would be beneficial but not essential
  • PTS – Essential
