Main Duties

  • Complete high-quality assessments to identify the needs of children and families

  • Develop, review and implement effective Child Protection and Child in Need plans

  • Engage directly with children and families, building trust and promoting positive change

  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to safeguard children

  • Attend court as needed, preparing statements and giving expert testimony

  • Maintain accurate, timely case notes in accordance with statutory requirements
