Position: Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist in Tower Hamlets
Salary: Up to £525 per day
Duration: 6 to 18 months
Working Pattern: Part-time/Full-time, at least 2 days a week

We are thrilled to offer an exciting locum opportunity for a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist in the vibrant and diverse borough of Tower Hamlets. This role involves working with children and their families to enhance communication and language development, and offers a chance to be part of a newly-published SEND Strategy with a strong partnership approach. If you are ready for a fresh and fulfilling challenge, we’re looking for locums who can commit to a position for a period of 6 to 18 months and who are flexible about working patterns, as this could be either part-time or full-time.

What you will do:

  • Conduct targeted-level groups with parents and children under 5 both in person at children and family centres and online
  • Write detailed advice for education, health, and care needs assessments
  • Deliver interventions for children under 5 with language difficulties
  • Be supervised and supported by a senior Speech and Language Therapist from the community children’s therapies team

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Valid HCPC registration
  • NQP competencies completed
  • Experience working with children with communication difficulties and their families in the community
  • A driving licence is preferred
