Description:
- Lead the Tracking & Strategy: Take charge of the council’s destination tracking for young people in Year 12 and 13, ensuring every NEET young person is identified and supported. You’ll also manage tracking for young people aged 19-25 with EHC plans.
- Collaborate & Deliver: Work closely with schools, multi-academy trusts (MATs), and other stakeholders to deliver new specialist places in mainstream settings for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) students.
- Data Mastery: Commission and manage the Client Caseload Information System, ensuring data accuracy and sharing NEET figures with relevant teams to drive positive outcomes.
- Statutory Superhero: Handle all statutory returns to the Department for Education (DfE), including tracking September Guarantees, Year 11 Activity Surveys, and keeping tabs on NEETs and Unknowns.
- Reporting Champion: Provide insightful reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, helping inform strategies that prevent and reduce NEETs at post-16.
- Data Innovator: Use the Risk of NEET Indicator data to identify at-risk young people, helping to deliver early interventions that make a real difference.
- GDPR Guru: Be the go-to expert on GDPR for Education Commissioning, ensuring data is shared responsibly and systems remain robust.
- Cross-Team Collaborator: Partner with various departments and teams to develop data sharing agreements and drive the delivery of education programmes that make a positive impact on young people’s lives.
Selection criteria questions:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Significant senior experience in data management, analysis, and reporting within the post-16 education sector.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR regulations, excellent communication skills, and experience working with multiple stakeholders, including Headteachers and senior managers.
- Experience working with NEET strategies, SEND students, and education commissioning is a desirable.
