Location: Lewisham
Pay rate (Assignment rate): £20.88 per hour
Main purpose:
In this role, you will provide critical support to the Project Manager, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including data collection, spreadsheet management, high-volume mailings, and managing email communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager with data gathering for project initiatives.
- Compile and maintain accurate data in spreadsheets using software like Microsoft Excel.
- Generate and prepare high volumes of letters for project purposes (e.g., mail merges).
- Manage and distribute outgoing mail and packages.
- Create and manage email distribution lists and communications.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system for project documents (physical and digital).
- Schedule meetings and appointments for the Project Manager
- Answer phones and emails in a professional and courteous manner, directing inquiries as appropriate.
- Provide general administrative support as needed by the Project Manager and team.
- Preparing and sending out information to stakeholders, supporting the development of agendas, attending meetings to take minutes and updating project documents.
Requirements:
- Recent experience working as an Administrator
- Experience in HR: Prior HR experience within education or public sector organizations is desirable but not essential.
- Skilled Administrator: Strong administrative skills with experience in project management or related roles will also be considered.
- Managing the administrative processes of an office or team.
- Working with a range of colleagues both within and outside the host organisation.
