Salary: £12.60- £14.00 per hour (depending on experience) + excellent benefits

Location: Leeds, LS13

Essential: Valid forklift truck licence

The Role

We need an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid forklift licence to support our goods in/out processes and production operations.

Key responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Interpret production instructions accurately
  • Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently
  • Carry out general warehouse operations
  • Strip die-cut packaging from pallets
  • Assist machine operators (full training provided)
  • Quality check and inspect products for consistency
  • Pack, label, and palletise products for dispatch
  • Produce delivery notes and organise consignments
  • Meet packing targets accurately
  • Participate in Health and Safety, Fire Safety, First Aid, and Waste Management duties

Candidate requirements

Essential:

  • Valid forklift truck licence with relevant experience
  • Previous warehouse experience involving physical work, quality checking, and packing
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office 365, email, bespoke systems)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexibly across different operations

Advantageous:

  • Health & Safety, IOSH, Fire Safety, or First Aid experience
  • Machine operation or assistance experience
