The Role:
As the Clinical Director of Maternal Child Services, you will provide both clinical and strategic leadership, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care across the Maternal Child Directorate. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing visible and professional leadership in clinical settings.
- Leading strategic development and business planning, aligned with the organization’s goals and community needs.
- Translating strategic plans into actionable objectives, managing their implementation within set timelines and budgets.
- Preparing and managing fiscal plans and human resource strategies that address the directorate’s current and future needs.
- Overseeing the production of quality and compliance data, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Developing and implementing performance improvement plans when operational gaps arise.
- Ensuring staff training and succession planning, fostering a culture that aligns with the organization’s values.
- Engaging in effective communication and staff management, ensuring a supportive work environment.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Master’s Degree from an accredited institution approved by the Bermuda Nursing Council.
- 7 to 10 years of progressive management experience in a Maternal Child Services setting.
- A proven track record in clinical management with senior leadership potential.
- Strong experience in financial and risk management, quality improvement, and patient satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Current registration as required by the Bermuda Nursing Council.
