Senior Data Platform Engineer, 150,000–180,000 KiwiSaver

Pearson Carter are currently working with a leading Microsoft-focused consultancy delivering cutting-edge cloud and data transformation solutions. They are partnering with major clients on large-scale projects, including Master Data Management (MDM) platforms, helping organisations modernise and optimise their data capabilities.

Due to a major new project, they are looking to grow their team with a Senior Data Platform Engineer to deliver high-impact solutions across Azure-based environments.

They offer an excellent salary of 150K–180K KiwiSaver flexible/hybrid working.

Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of data platform solutions
Design and implement Azure-based data architectures
Work closely with clients to define and deliver solutions
Support MDM platform implementations 
Drive best practices across DevOps and data engineering

Experience:
5 years in data engineering / data platform roles
Strong Azure experience (Databricks, Fabric preferred)
Experience delivering projects end-to-end
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Consultancy experience preferred

Salary
They offer an excellent salary package: 150,000–180,000 KiwiSaver

Location
Hamilton / Auckland (Hybrid) or Wellington / Christchurch
