Pearson Carter are currently working with a fast-growing Australian PropTech company operating across property, mortgage, and AI-driven real estate solutions. The business is data-heavy, combining property intelligence, lending services, and AI tools to help improve decision-making for buyers and homeowners.

Due to recent team changes, they are hiring a Python Developer to join their Brisbane-based engineering team and support ongoing platform development.

Responsibilities:
Build and maintain backend applications using Python and Django
Develop REST APIs and support AI chatbot functionality
Work across data-heavy systems and property platforms
Support cloud-based infrastructure and deployments
Collaborate with product and engineering teams
Contribute to code reviews and system improvements

Experience:
Strong Python and Django experience (essential)
Django REST Framework (DRF)
Understanding of SQL, ORM optimisation, and database design
Experience with cloud environments (GCP preferred)
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD tools
Strong problem-solving and clean coding practices
