How we make money
The Yoti app will always be free for individuals. We make money by charging businesses to check the identity details of their customers.
Our systems are built in a way that means only the user can access their data, which means we cannot mine or sell user data to third parties.
Doing good is part of our DNA, As a certified B Corp, we balance profit with people and the planet. We are committed to solving identity problems through grassroots research and social purpose initiatives such as our Yoti Fellowship Programme.
How digital ID works
Users add a government-issued ID document and take a biometric selfie to create their reusable digital ID. Once verified, they simply scan a QR code or tap a button to share only the details your organisation needs.
