AWS Application Developer

Role: AWS Application Developer
Duration: Contract 3 Months extendable
Location: London UK (Onsite)

Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in AWS application development
• Expertise in:
o AWS Lambda
o Amazon EventBridge
o Amazon Kinesis Data Streams
o Amazon API Gateway
o DynamoDB and S3
• Strong knowledge of event-driven and serverless architectures
• Programming proficiency in:
o TypeScript (mandatory)
o Node.js backend development
o Python (good to have)

App Modernization & Architecture
• Experience in:
o Microservices-based architectures
o Cloud-native application development
• Understanding of:
o RESTful APIs and distributed systems
o Performance optimization and scalability

DevOps & Tools
• Experience with:
o CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
o AWS CDK / CloudFormation
• Familiarity with:
o Unit and integration testing frameworks
o Monitoring tools (CloudWatch)

Soft Skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in agile and fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate (preferred)
• Experience in:
o Large-scale cloud-native platforms
