Solutions Architect – Applications & Integration

 

We’re looking for a Solutions Architect who enjoys solving complex problems and designing modern systems that work together seamlessly.

You’ll play a key role in shaping application and integration solutions across a large and evolving technology environment, helping teams deliver reliable, scalable digital services.

Working closely with architecture, engineering, and delivery teams, you’ll turn business needs into clear technical designs and help guide projects from idea through to implementation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing modern application and integration solutions

  • Helping systems connect through APIs, events, and messaging

  • Supporting teams delivering new platforms and improving existing ones

  • Ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and reliable

  • Working with architects, engineers, and stakeholders across the organisation

  • Providing guidance to delivery teams and suppliers

  • Taking part in design reviews and shaping technical direction

  • Producing clear architecture designs and documentation

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience designing solutions in complex enterprise environments

  • Strong understanding of modern application architecture (cloud, APIs, microservices)

  • Experience integrating systems and platforms

  • Experience working with SaaS products

  • Knowledge of security and identity considerations

  • Comfortable working in Agile / DevOps environments

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with integration platforms or API management tools

  • Exposure to architecture frameworks like TOGAF

  • Experience in regulated or public sector environments
