 We are working closely with a multinational tech company who have a large presence in their industry.

 Their tech stack is at the forefront of the company and they are keen to build a new Ai team.

 The stack covers LLMS & LlaMA, and the role will involve a lot of autonomy.

 Requirements

  • 3–5 years of commercial software development experience, ideally with exposure to backend or full-stack development
  • Hands-on experience working with AI/ML systems, including integration of LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, open-source models, or local inference models)
  • Experience building AI-powered applications using React (e.g. chat interfaces, copilots, or LLM-driven UX components)
  • Familiarity with local AI runtimes, model inference, or edge/on-device AI solutions (e.g. Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp, or similar tools)
  • Understanding of APIs, cloud services, and distributed systems (Azure, AWS, or GCP exposure is a plus)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals (clean code, testing, debugging, performance considerations)

 Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of AI-powered applications, including LLM-based features and intelligent user experiences
  • Build and maintain React-based interfaces that integrate with AI/LLM backends (chat systems, copilots, agents, etc.)
  • Work with local and cloud-based AI models to implement inference, orchestration, and prompt workflows
  • Participate in backend development for AI services, APIs, and model integration layers
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define AI features and translate them into working solutions
  • Ensure solutions are reliable, performant, and efficient in terms of latency and cost
  • Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices
  • Stay hands-on in development while growing towards ownership of specific AI components or features

 

Salary

They offer an excellent salary of up to 130,000  Super.

 Location

Sydney – Hybrid
