Business Development Manager (BDM) – SaaS & Managed Services
About the Role
We are a fast-growing, technology-driven business operating at the intersection of Managed IT Services and B2B SaaS solutions. Our focus is on delivering automation-led, scalable, and high-impact outcomes for our clients across multiple markets.
As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new revenue growth, build meaningful client relationships, and unlock expansion opportunities across both new and existing customers.
This is a full-cycle, growth-focused role that blends outbound pipeline generation with strategic deal ownership. You’ll operate in a modern sales environment supported by automation, integrated CRM systems, and strong technical delivery teams—allowing you to focus on selling, not admin.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a dynamic role combining elements of both BDM and senior BDR responsibilities:
New Business & Pipeline Growth
- Identify, prospect, and engage new business opportunities across target markets (SMB to mid-market and enterprise)
- Drive outbound activity including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling
- Build and maintain high-quality prospect lists and target accounts
- Generate and qualify opportunities through discovery-led conversations
Full Sales Cycle Ownership
- Run consultative discovery sessions with key decision-makers
- Identify business challenges and position tailored SaaS and managed service solutions
- Manage the end-to-end sales process—from first touch through to close
- Develop proposals using automated quoting tools and workflows
Account Expansion & Cross-Sell
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customers
- Partner with customer success and delivery teams to drive account growth
- Build long-term relationships and act as a trusted advisor
Collaboration & Market Engagement
- Work closely with marketing on outbound campaigns and messaging
- Attend events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads
- Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Own and manage pipeline within CRM (e.g., HubSpot or equivalent)
- Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting
- Continuously optimise outreach strategies and conversion rates
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, Managed IT Services (MSP), or technology solutions
- Strong understanding of recurring revenue models (MRR/ARR)
- Experience across both outbound pipeline generation and closing deals
- Confident managing the full sales cycle
- High energy, resilient, and comfortable with cold outreach
- Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills
- Commercially driven with a strong performance mindset
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
