MISFITS is a brand created by CB1 Group for the next generation of youth. MISFITS is a music collective built by and for chosen creatives who operate outside the mainstream. MISFITS curate, release, and amplify the work of artists who don’t fit the mould, across rap, R&B, electronic, and everything in between. The mission is to build a home for the unconventional, the uncompromising, and the undeniable.

Job Summary

You will assist in operating MISFITS, our music collective. You are our tastemaker. You will assist in curating our artist roster, manage music releases via our distribution platform, and build relationships with independent musicians who don’t fit the mainstream mould.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and recruit unconventional artists for the collective.

· Manage music releases (distribution, promotion, artwork).

· Build and maintain relationships with MISFITS artists.

· Coordinate studio sessions and recording.

· Pitch music to playlists, blogs, and press.

Who You Are

· Aged 18–25 with deep knowledge of music (rap, R&B, electronic, etc.).

· Connected to music artists and the wider scenes associated.

· Great ear for talent and potential.

· Organised and detail-orientated for release timelines.

· Passionate about the wider artist development, not just the music.

Pay & Commitment

This is a voluntary role with a maximum project-based fee of £250 per project (e.g., curating and releasing one track).

We are a start-up CIC. This role is guaranteed to evolve into a paid senior management position as we grow.
