Pearson Carter are currently working with a leading Australian engineering company developing advanced embedded and electro-mechanical systems for defence and high-security applications. With in-house product development and a strong focus on innovation, they offer a collaborative environment with excellent exposure to complex engineering projects.

They are looking to grow their team with a Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for next-generation systems.

They offer an excellent salary of 85K–95K Super half-day Fridays strong learning and development opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop embedded firmware in C/C
Work on bare-metal firmware and hardware integration
Translate system requirements into technical solutions
Support testing, debugging, and validation
Collaborate with hardware and engineering teams

Experience:
2–3 years firmware/embedded development experience
Strong C/C experience (bare-metal preferred)
Ability to read schematics and debug hardware issues
Experience in embedded or production environments
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Salary
They offer an excellent salary package: 85,000–95,000 Super

Location
West Melbourne, Australia (on-site)
