Front-End Engineer – Hybrid (Malta) – €30,000–€40,000

The Role
We are looking for a Front-End Engineer who is organised, proactive, and passionate about creating exceptional user experiences. You will play a key role in developing responsive and high-performing applications, working closely with back-end developers and UI/UX designers in an Agile environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing clean, efficient code to build functional front-end applications
- Ensuring code quality and adherence to established best practices
- Building reusable components and libraries for scalability
- Developing and maintaining unit tests
- Collaborating with API/back-end teams to integrate applications
- Working closely with UI/UX designers to implement design solutions
- Identifying and escalating technical or requirement issues when needed
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and trends
- Contributing to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Working within KPIs to deliver tasks on time
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Front-End or Junior Front-End Developer role
- Strong understanding of the full development lifecycle (design to deployment)
- Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js
- Familiarity with npm, Node.js, and Webpack
- Understanding of back-end technologies such as C#, SQL, and NoSQL
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Solid understanding of User Experience (UX) principles
