Pearson Carter are currently working with a specialist industrial automation and power control company based in Canberra. They design and deliver advanced automation solutions across energy, food manufacturing, and broader industrial sectors, working on real-world systems that combine electrical engineering, PLC programming, and industrial communications.

Due to growth within their technical team, they are looking to hire a Graduate Electrical Engineer / Programmer to join their Canberra-based engineering team.

Responsibilities:
Design electrical automation systems including I/O, instrumentation, and actuators
Program, test, and commission PLC and RTU systems
Develop HMI/SCADA visualisation systems
Configure industrial communication networks (IP and serial)
Produce technical design and operational documentation
Support existing systems and occasional site work

Experience:
Electrical Engineering degree (or related discipline)
Australian Citizenship required
Understanding of electrical circuits and control systems
Exposure to PLC/RTU systems (preferred)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Salary
They offer an excellent salary package: up to 95,000

Location
Canberra, Australia (On-site – 4 days in office, 1 day WFH)
