About the Role

As a Mid-Level AI Engineer, you will join a high-performing, agile team working on production-grade AI systems embedded in a widely used SaaS platform.

This is a hands-on role where you will design, build, and deploy AI-powered features, with a strong focus on LLMs and practical machine learning applications. You’ll work across both backend AI systems and frontend integrations, contributing directly to user-facing functionality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML features with a focus on LLM-powered applications
  • Building and integrating solutions using modern LLM tooling and APIs
  • Working with local AI models (e.g. Ollama, LLaMA, Gemma or similar) for on-device or private deployments
  • Translating data insights into scalable product features
  • Collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams to deliver AI-driven functionality
  • Contributing to frontend development using React to support AI-powered user experiences
  • Operating within modern cloud and DevOps environments

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in AI/ML or software engineering roles
  • Strong Python skills and solid experience with ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs (prompting, fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, or similar)
  • Experience working with or experimenting with local/open-weight models (e.g. Ollama, LLaMA, Gemma)
  • Frontend development experience with React
  • Strong problem-solving ability and confidence working in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to take ownership and deliver end-to-end solutions

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks (.NET, Node.js, Django, etc.)
  • Experience building or contributing to SaaS platforms
  • Understanding of MLOps, model deployment, and scaling AI systems
