Primary Activities:

  • Essential Minimum Requirements:
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage new business opportunities across AUS, NZ, and US markets.
  • Cold Outreach: Confidently cold call and email potential clients with enthusiasm and persistence.
  • List Building: Research and maintain high-quality lead lists for targeted outreach.
  • CRM Management: Own HubSpot – keep data clean, track engagement, and ensure workflows are running smoothly.
  • Event Engagement: Attend industry events, conferences, and sponsorship opportunities to generate leads and represent.
  • Campaign Collaboration: Work with marketing on outbound campaigns and messaging.
  • Qualifying Leads: Hold discovery conversations to qualify prospects and book demos for Account Executives.
  • Market Insights: Track industry trends, competitors, and buyer behaviours to improve prospecting strategies.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and nurture referral or channel partner opportunities.
  • Reporting & Feedback: Provide weekly insights on pipeline activity, lead quality, and market feedback to leadership.
  • Full working rights in Australia (Sydney-based, hybrid work model). We are also open to applications from WHV holders, if successful, this will be on an initial 6-month contract with possible future sponsorship available depending on success.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within SAAS. This role is ideal for someone who has performed at a high level as a BDR consistently and is looking for fast track progression to becoming an Account Executive.
  • Experience must ideally be within workforce/HR SaaS sectors to qualify as relevant SaaS experience. This is very much preferred due to ease of transition
  • but wouldn’t be a deal breaker should the right person have good crossover experience, at least.
  • Keen understanding of the art of listening before talking. How can we best understand the prospective customer, their problems and how can the Client solution add value to their business.
