Senior Data Engineer (Azure) – Financial Services Projects

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing, high-performing data team within a global professional services environment. You’ll work alongside a young team of specialists (currently 6 people) delivering modern Azure-based data platforms for major client projects.

The team focuses on Data Engineering and Automations, and due to increasing demand they are looking to bring in someone experienced who can help shape solutions while continuing to grow technically.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and building scalable data pipelines and data platforms in Azure

• Working with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Services and Microsoft Fabric

• Developing Python-based data engineering solutions

• Providing technical guidance across projects

• Participating in client workshops, demos and solution showcases

• Delivering projects primarily within Financial Services (banking), with additional industry projects in the pipeline

What we’re looking for

• 5 years’ experience in Data Engineering

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data technologies

• Python for data engineering

• Experience building modern data pipelines / cloud data platforms

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with clients
