Trading Standards Officer needed in Rotherham Paying  £20.29 per hr ref 000B 0A1D / 1

Full time hours on a temporary basis

 Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a full range of Trading Standards duties, including inspections, investigations, and enforcement action
  • Ensure businesses comply with relevant legislation including consumer protection and weights and measures laws
  • Conduct inspections of premises, goods, and services
  • Investigate complaints and potential breaches, gathering evidence where required
  • Prepare case files and support legal proceedings where necessary
  • Provide advice and guidance to businesses and consumers
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
