WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS
 
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Northampton.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, ongoing work, and genuine career progression opportunities.
Shifts

  • 4 on 4 off days: 06:00 – 18:00 (will include weekend working)

  • 4 on 4 off nights: 18:00 – 06:00 (will include weekend working)

Rates of Pay

  • Days: £12.50 per hour basic / £15.63 per hour overtime (From November – £13.50 per hour basic / £16.88 per hour overtime)

  • Nights: £13.25 per hour basic / £16.38 per hour overtime (From November – £14.25 per hour basic / £17.59 per hour overtime)

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently

  • Carrying out stock control and regular stock checks

  • Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries (goods in)

  • Preparing and labelling goods ready for dispatch

  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely

  • Moving and organising stock within the warehouse

  • Ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely

  • Following health and safety guidelines at all times

  • Using handheld scanners and other equipment where required

  • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

  • Parcel sorting

Essential Skills

  • Basic level of English (spoken and written)

  • Reliability and punctuality

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

  • Positive and proactive attitude

Desirable Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience (advantageous but not essential as full training is provided)

  • Experience using handheld scanners or similar equipment

Training Provided

  • Full training provided with additional support throughout your assignment
