I am currently recruiting for a Qualified History & Classics A Level teacher for an amazing Secondary school in North Yorkshire. The school specialises in helping pupils that have SENd, SEMH or complex needs.

This role has an immediate start and will run until February half term (potentially beyond for the right candidate).

The school are looking for a qualified, History specialist, who has the desire and patients to work with children in an alternative setting. You will be expected to teach up to KS4 and will have the resilience and understanding to support and teach children who have SEND and SEMH needs.

If you are looking for more experience of teaching in this sector and have a passion to help children and young people with additional needs, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

The History Teacher will need:

*PGCE / QTS required for this opportunity
