Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Edgware, Middlesex

Step Teachers are working with a consistently “Good” Ofsted-rated primary school in Middlesex. They are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join their team in September 2024. The school is praised by Ofsted for its supportive and inclusive environment, where high expectations for pupil achievement are a priority.
SEN Teacher– Role:
- Focus on planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of Year 2/3 students with ASD.
- Ability to assess students with ASD, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers and other members of staff throughout the school.
SEN Teacher – Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- Recent experience as an SEN Teacher, particularly with students with ASD.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
- A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
